Press Release Author: John Robertson

Industry: Real Estate

Press Release Summary: 64-year-old artist from Los Angeles is selling his eccentric life after watching the movie \"The Bucket List\" saying \"you are never too old to set other goals or have new dreams.\"

Press Release Body: At some point many of us had thought about living the bohemian life of an artist but most of us never actually do. But now John Robertson, a professional artist, is making it possible for anyone to live that kind of dream He has put his current life up for sale on his ArtistLifeForSale.com site.

To do this John is selling his art studio (at the beach overlooking the blue Pacific), all his art supplies, and contents of the studio and forty hours of education to become a professional artist.

John has it all - He has made a living making art for the last seventeen years, a studio at the beach, materials and tools to make almost anything he wants and the time to do it.

Why give it up?

This is what John said. \"You probably want to hear of some great plan to live a fantastic life in some manner beyond imagination. And hearing that will reinforce the possibility in your mind of what you may or may not do in the future. Well, I had a dream a number of years ago to live a simple life on the beach as an artist. Seems simple. People speak about that kind of stuff all the time. But few do it - for a variety of very good reasons - none that (in the long run) are very important. Well - that is what I did and I am still living that dream - and will continue to do so.\"

But -

John was on an airplane a few weeks ago flying back to Massachusetts to visit his daughter and grandchildren. The movie \"The Bucket List\" played on the flight. The movie is about a wish list of \"to-dos\" before the main characters die. As John is going to be sixty-five at the end of August he thought about what would be on his list. At the top of the list is to spend more time with his children and grandchildren. Now, here is the problem. One daughter and grandchildren live in Massachusetts and the other daughter lives north of Los Angeles. So if he sells his life as an artist in Los Angeles it will be painting in Massachusetts in the summer months and California in the winter.

So the \"why\" is more about the person buying the \"life of an artist\" and not about John. It is about someone else changing his or her life and what they can do to make it happen for themselves. The biggest challenge anyone can take is to live the life of their dreams. John says he already met that challenge seventeen years ago and becoming an artist was its outcome.

The question arises. is someone willing to pay for the life-changing opportunity to live a different life or will everyone continue to live the kind of life they are living today, and yesterday and last year? He will find out. John says, \" to live a life of your own choice requires hard work, determination, dedication and faith in yourself, - and for those people, all things are possible.\"
